What is the material of our doors?

Our doors are made of the highest quality steel that receives a powder coating. This powder coating has many benefits for the lifespan of your steel door. It provides protection against corrosion and any form of rust, and surfaces are made completely impact, scratch, and bump resistant. It is available in almost any RAL color. All this ensures a longer lifespan and is easy to clean.

Which divisions are possible?

At VIDA DOORS, everything is possible. There are infinite possibilities when choosing the division. We work with glazing beads with a cross-section of 5x20mm that are placed on the glass afterwards. So you can be as creative as you wish and create the look you had in mind. The division is completely of your choice and does not influence the price of your quote. Would you like more inspiration? How do I correctly measure my door opening?

To find the right size, measure the opening in width as well as height. To measure it as accurately as possible, you can use a laser meter or a measuring tape. Measuring doors is different for new doors in a shell construction than when you replace existing interior doors. If you want to replace your doors, you can determine the correct door sizes based on your current door. You must take the door frame into account, which is removed when you want to place a steel door. So you measure the door from wall to wall, including the door frame. In new construction, it is important that you only measure the doors when the screed is laid and the walls are plastered. Measure the height of the raw wall opening from the floor and measure the width of the raw wall opening. Do this at 3 different points (left, middle, and right) and note the smallest size. After approval of the quote, we will visit you for a technical measurement to check the specified sizes before your door goes into production.

Are other colors possible besides RAL 9005?

That's certainly possible! We use Black RAL 9005 as standard for our steel doors. All other colors from the RAL color palette and our SuprAnodic collection are also possible at a reasonable additional cost.

Question 5

Which types of glass can I choose from?

Accepted Answer

You can choose from 12 different types of glass. Transparent VSG 33.1 safety glass is always included in the basic price; other types are available on request. The transparent safety glass consists of two glass panes of 3 mm, held together by 1 layer of foil. This glass has a total thickness of 6mm. The advantage of safety glass is that it is very resistant to glass breakage and very safe to use.

What is the delivery time?

After approval of the quote, we will visit you for a technical measurement before your door goes into production. Currently, the delivery time is between 8 and 10 weeks.
